The backbone and strategy for Safe Families is faith communities. We mobilize local churches to lead family preservation efforts in their communities. When churches partner with Safe Families, they recruit and support volunteers from their congregation or the greater community.
Church partnerships are an integral part of our model as they help us maximize community involvement and minimize the need for greater organizational support.

Safe Families for Children NYC is proud to be an official partner of New York Road Runners, for the TCS New York City Marathon. This renowned course draws athletes from all over the world, and takes runners on an iconic route through the five boroughs. As an official partner, we are able to offer an incredible opportunity to athletes in our volunteer community who want to make every mile count.
